Walking in Athens

Our area and the position of Delice Hotel is one of the main landmarks of the city. Setting off from our main entrance you will soon discover one of the most interesting areas of the city. Walking from Vassilis Sofias Avenue to Syntagma Square you will meet left and the right side Byzantine, Christian, Cycladic Art and War Museums, with amazing collections and exhibitions. Kolonaki neighborhood is a wealthy and upmarket district and you will visit if you turn right through your walk in any road. Galleries, Benaki museum and many available options of bars, cafes and restaurants make it a must visit if you are walking around the city.

The national Garden is on your left, if you still walking at Vassilis Sofias avenue, and getting close to Syntagma Square you will see the Greek Parliament. The square is connecting the city center with metro, tram and bus stations that can get you around. Acropolis, Monastiraki and Plaka areas are very close and you can continue your walk. You can also choose National Garden, that is located next to the Parliament, with it’s charming paths, clearings and small ponds, for an ideal conclusion to your path.
